Take a couple kids with you one afternoon. Go downtown. Ask local businesses to place an offer on a discount card. Make some extra money for just a few hours of your time. It does not cost the businesses anything to participate. Their only obligation is to honor the offer they place on the card.
Fundraisers sell the cards for anywhere from $5 to $10 each. Most cards are sold for $10. The cards could cost you as little as 40¢ each. You split the remaining profit with the fundraiser as you see fit.
Make Big Money - Do It Yourself!
Example: An elementary school (with 600 participants) orders your cards. They should sell on the average at least 4 cards each. Six hundred participants selling four cards each is 2,400 cards.
If you give the school 60% profit ($6 per card sold) the school would make $14,400 dollars (2,400 x $6 each) in approximately two weeks. You would make $3.60 per card (the remaining $4 minus the print fee of 40¢ per card) which would net you $8,640!
